Following the success of the 2005 Symposium, a poetry cooperative that meets monthly was formed at the Rutherford Public Library. Hosted by Jane Fisher, Director of the Rutherford Public Library, and John J. Trause, Director of the Wood-Ridge Memorial Library, the collaborative sponsors monthly "Second Wednesdays" programs consisting of a brief sampling of work by William Carlos Williams, a reading by a featured poet(s), and open mic readings. The readings, held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7 PM at the Williams Center, is free of charge and open to all. Contact Jane Fisher at [email protected] for more information.
